La Chamuyera is an innovative tango school in Belgrade that embodies the movement and the culture of Tango Argentino.
While strongly respecting our Buenos Aires roots, our teaching is informed by a neuromuscular understanding of the human body, somatic release approach & conscious movement practices.
The core of our dance studio in Belgrade is Boris, a teacher born and bred in Buenos Aires. Boris learned from famous maestros in Buenos Aires and honed his craft through exchanges with other professional dancers. Sharing his passion for the last two decades in Buenos Aires and throughout Europe, the US, and Australia, he brings the authentic heart of tango to Belgrade.
This soulful project Boris has been co-creating with Đurđina, a traveling tango DJ, teacher, and event organizer with years of experience. Đurđina got seduced by this dance 15ys ago but her true love is the conscious movement within the framework of tango.
